    nah... have to cater for what the masses want and as mark has sed.. newcastle cant sustain a weekly trance night.

    will be intersting what the other friday will be as well...

    I don't think you can blame it on what people have posted on the message board,I mean what percentage of people who go to Promise actually go on the message board. I doubt very many.
    Anyway I bet not even many people go to Promise more than twice a month so it won't make that much difference to them.

    a is a bit unfiar blaming it on the message board. lets face promise has never being a superclub! b4 this message board started it use to be a lot quieter personally i dont think promise evr recovered from booking prog dj's everyweek! when other clubs jumped on the prog bandwagon.

    it's not the fault of the message board!

    msg boards are fickle and opinionated, and only reflect the views of a few people.
    their members are often internet clubbers who dont go out much, or clubbing geeks, who love picking apart DJs sets, and a club night.
    (i probs fit into one of these catagories :))
    i would listen to my door takings if i was a promoter, and whats working elsewhere (which mark now seems to be doing).
