PROMISE vs EAT YOUR WORDS, Hull, last nite! PROMISE vs EAT YOUR WORDS at the FEZ in HULL last nite, did anyone go? It wasn't as busy as it should've bin! Was bit annoyed Mr.Tulip didn't play as he was advertised to be playin! Instead we had 2hours of Rocket Ron, who's not bad, but I can see him every couple of Fridays here anyway! Richard Tulip is one of the main reasons for going to these Promise nights! On the plus side, SLIPMATT gave us plenty of pure party trance anthems, includin JoyEnergizer, 10in01 (bootleg with Music Is Movin vox) and Darren Tate's Graceland before launching into proper 'back in the day' old-skool rippers, includin Moby's Go (the proper old-skoll club version) and the tune that made the night... THE PRODIGY - CHARLY!!!!!! Then ROB TISSERA took over and proceeded to tear the place apart with sum devastatingly good hard party tunage, including Alphazone's Stay and 4Motion's It's Over!!!!! A good night had then, just a shame bout the flowery 1!

I don't think Richard's been very well which is why he didn't play in the end Lets hope he gets better soon

Yeah, that's wot i mean! I thought there'd b a gud reason, now I know there WAS a gud reason! I've had to DJ whilst being REALLY ill before n it aint nice! So yes being ill was a gud reason for Rich T not playin! Actually, I think it says a lot that he still wanted to b there!
yes richard was ill, he has been for about 5 weeks now! he has been to the docs, and is on the mend now though, don't forget you can see him at tall trees next saturday! he's playing 12.00 - 1.30 i think !
