    Promise @ Stage Door?

I got told this morning that Promise have found a new home at the Stage Door. Any truth in the rumour? Does anybody care these days? Or is this old news and i'm going to get shot down in flames with a link to the thread that originally contained this information?

    Not promise BUT

GOODGREEF PRESENTS 2006 JUNIOR G LAUNCH PARTY
    Goodgreef Presents Junior: G

Goodgreef - Mixmag’s Best Club in the North 2005 and Club of the Year 2002 - brings you a new monthly party to fill a gaping night time void with underground and forward thinking clubbing in the North East starting on Friday May 12th in Newcastle

Junior G kicks off in Newcastle Friday 12th May

Fed up with the same old music and nowhere good to go, this is something a bit special which is going to give life a much needed kick up the backside and satiate the need for some electric partying where it’s needed most. Welcome to Junior: G

The brainchild of Barry Almond and Ben Spier, the promoters behind one of the success stories of recent times for nocturnal naughtiness and endless late nights, that is Goodgreef, Junior G offers more intimate surroundings for a new concept which promises the most upfront tech-fuelled trance and techno beats alongside tough, dirty house and quality electro led by local heroes, Goodgreef residents and internationally acclaimed producer/DJ guests who rarely play in Newcastle but who are forever requested to be there.

The idea is to get these parties back to the real underground vibe – dark rooms, amazing music and like minded people together whilst retaining the crazed atmospheres Goodgreef is famed for and Junior G is going to be the place to let your hair down for some serious fun start the weekend fun.

Making this launch night go off with a bang is tech/trance master & Recover head honcho John Askew who has just launched his own show on Paul van Dyk’s radio station, Vonyc. Goodgreef favourite Shan supports, charting through another incredible start to the year for the crowd pleasing DJ who continues to wow every time gets behind the decks - usually all 3 of them, not forgetting local heroes Richard Tulip from Promise, Mark Maitland and James Anderson who will be providing dazzling tech/trance and techno all night long.

The sleazy house and bass ripping electro vibes are provided by Untamed Society and Deep Down and Dirty on deck duty, renown for their floor filling, air punching sets of rocking grooves and sordid, meaty beats.

The Cosmic Ballroom is an intimate venue for 400 clubbers to lose it on the floor. As ever the Goodgreef production will be top notch and the club itself it a venue we are very excited about, small and perfect for this launch, with an open door policy for clubbers from every walk of life - straight, gay and mixed, and located right in the heart of the action.

It’s what the North East has been waiting for!

£10 for that's fair IMO, you have to remember that the venue isn't the same size as Foundation, so you're not gunna be getting the same numbers in to cover the cost of the performers.

I'm pleased about this, just hope it doesn't turn into an absolutely mEnTaL hardstyle night where the main attraction is someone decimating himself behind the decks.

People have been moaning about there being no trance in Newcastle since Promise finished, and now the same people are moaning about having to pay a tenner... What a joke!
