    Promise Rugby?

With all this talk about a football team, why don't we start a rugger team too? Better than footer anyway! :p

I know the chances of it happening are about as narrow as theo nes that Sassy Sarah and Amy will hold hands and skip merrily through a meadow, but let's use this thread to find out who actually has an interest in the sport.

I aint played in years, but watching the Sevens on TV over the weekend has definately brought my love of the sport back out.

    So, anyone?

Yeah I know you two have, but to my knowledge, you're the only ones on this damn board!

I'd love to start playing again, but my eyesight's wank without my gogs, so I can't really play

word, yeah i played 1st XV when i was 18, not played it since, cos been concentrating more on climbing, skiing etc. but our team was runner up school team of month in Rugby World, had to play Brieve (European Champions) when we went on tour in france, and lost, but they were an age group above us, dont think i could play second row any more, but flanker...:D

never quite worked out how football was a man's game, when one of the "best players in the world" is highly effeminate

As opposed to the mens men of rugby - Will Carling, Jeremy Gusgott and co..

Egg chasing is for rich boys that weren't aloud out to play football with the rough, nuff said.

and? what's the problem in that?
besides, that was 8 yrs ago.
how anyone can say a game where 15 meathead 16st+ men who can all do hundred in less than 12 seconds beat seven colours of shit out of each other for 80 minutes, isnt a man's games quite clearly needs glasses.
