    Promise Radio Trial

We are trying out having live and recorded broadcasts of Promise residents on promisealways.com

I've got it all up and running and it should stay that way for a couple of days (I'll let you all know when it goes offline).

On rotation we have mixes by...

    Matt Hardwick (Trance)
    Lee Roberts (Tribal House)
Richard Tulip (Prog - Trance - Hard Trance)
    Lee Foster (Trance)
Simon Stuart (House, and Phat Breaks).

All comments are welcome, does it work for you? Does it buffer too much or not at all?

I have limited the stream to about 32kbps so even if you have an broadband that is all you will get for now.

I will get media player to show which dj you are listening to as soon as I work out how to do it.

Please give feedback so I can improve the service.

It all works perfectly. No buffering whatsoever. Sound quality is pretty high. Once the DJ name is displayed it'll be perfect. Will it be contionuous? And will other DJs sets/mixes be added?:)

If it works I would imagine it being on most of the week with live broadcasts from promise each friday.

I've changed the sound to mono but higher quality. This should help peeps on 56k modems listen and also make it possible for more peeps to listen at once.

It is playing up a bit at the moment but should be ok in 20 mins.
