Promise opening time...

we all know promise opens @ 10.... well nearly half past on friday


but ive notice over the weeks// that the club doesnt get 'busy' until abrouns 11-30 - 12.... kinda middle of the night ish...

have promise ever thought of opening at an earlier time.. so the club fills up a bit b4 richard gets of the dex?

It fills up at about 11.30 cause everyone is coming out the pubs then. If they opened earlier you'd have all the eager cybers walkin around for 2 hours before anyone came in.

I know what u mean it is pretty dead sometimes - it's the bouncers aswell though cause they like a big queue around the corner so it looks even busier than it is. I reckon this just makes some people leave and go somewhere else though.

to be honest, most of the time its pretty boring till 11.30 anyway!
thats why ppl dont come till then.

plus its cheaper to stay at home and get wrecked first, or go to some bars or sommat.....esp now the drinks prices have gone up.

Are these people not paying to get in like? You think Promise just get the place for free. The bouncers do like a big queue anyway cause it makes the lcub seem busier. FOOL

The people in the queue will be paying to get in anyway, but having them stand outside reduces the time they spend drinking in the club which will bring the most revenue in for the foundation (my guess is Promise keeps the door money and pays for the hire of the club out of that) the bouncers work for the foundation not promise so why would they give a fuck if the club seems busy?

a lot of club owners look @ the size of there queues as a sign of success and a good night ibiza....

..personally wud want the punters in buyin drinks and spendin there money than keepin the path dry..

Most big clubs I've been to don't open on time - things always go wrong its the nature of the business. I've been@sundis when its opened nearly 2 hours late

The Promise door staff are some of the best I've been to in the country.... They get people through the door in a fast and friendly manner (no 3 hour full cavity searches). Even though most people aren't strip searched promise is one of the most dealer free clubs I've been to This shows whata good job they do They watch who's actually dealing then give them the boot instead of creating huge queues by performing a 3 minute searches on everybody....

If someone is going to sneak drugs into the club they will regardless of searches (theres a million places you can hide your stash), promise doorstaff do a wikkid job in my eyes and the proof in this is its virtually dealer free (I've seen at least 7 dealers barred from promise )

I'm only telling you what my dad's friend told me, and he's a bouncer at Foundation.

nah, I like getting in bout 10.30-10.45 ish...... it aint exactly jumping but its cool sitting round just chatting and soaking up the atmos and tules's lush dirty prog...... better being there doing that than anywhere else

I agree with ya on this one Si, not so sure about the prog right at the start but it is cool just wondering about when it ain't busy chatting to ya mates before it gets rammed!
