    Promise :: Lastnight

Arrived as Jules was starting! Ill be the first one to say i thought he played a relatively decent set! Aside of all the Bootlegs + nonsense Looping which annoyed me a bit! Other people seemed to enjoy, so fairplay:up:Gotta respect the bloke, he had everyone going!

Above + Beyond were in a league of there own, totally outclassed everyone imo! Every mix was spot on, and track selection was f*cking Awesome! Definetly one of the best Sets ive heard in a long time! 'No-one On Earth' as there last tune:love:

Tulip was amazing, excellent end of the night set! Euphonic - Voice of Tomorrow:love: Richard is a Legend:king:

tunes of the night for me ::

Kyau Vs Albert - Made of Sun (KvA Hard Dub)
Ferry Corsten - Holding On (Above + Beyond remix)
    Euphonic - Voice of Tomorrow
Dido - Sand in My Shoes (Above + Beyond remix)
    Armin Vs M.I.K.E - Intruder
Delerium - Silence (Above + Beyond remix)
Ridgewalkers Feat El - Find (Kyau Vs Albert remix)
Above + Beyond - No-one on Earth (Gabriel + Dresden remix)

I think they played one of their new tracks which hasnt been released towards the end of their set, sounded awesome!!

    Also nice to meet 'Jame-tron + Ellielou'

    Chris:)

    promise was excellent i thought!!!!

thats one of the best sets ive heard jules play, 1st 2 tunes viola & darkside of the moon!!!

a & b were better than i expected like, thought they were really flat on the boat and too 'anjuna' sounding, if u know what i mean :p but were really good last nite, and richard was quality, no psy trance in sight lol.

the matt night aside one of the best promise's over last few month, roll on the classics!!!!! :D

Hmmmmm wasn't the best night I've had by a long shot!
Jules was better than previous times I have seen him but still gets right on my nerves messing about with perfectly good records! Didn't think A & B were as good as the last couple of times I saw them - the music seemed to be all over the place.
Oh and there was some right fucking tossers in Foundation last night:evil: No need!

apart from that I had a good night, like :p

had a brilliant night, i wasnt going to go out at first but im glad i did!

think i was on the dancefloor for most of the night. Jules was jules, a crowd pleaser and i was impressed as ever. Above and Beyond blew me away, outstanding

Was way too hot, thought Jules was shit - I've heard far better sets from him. The same goes for Above and Beyond, apart from a few tunes I thought their set was pretty poor. Again, I've seen them so much better.

Didn't enjoy getting flung from my seat by a charva either.

Was still nice to be out and see everyone again tho. :D

I had a good night - nowhere near being a 'best' night but still really good. I neither loved or hated Jules but liked Above & Beyond's set.

Far too many wankers around though and some of my mates got kicked out for fighting or something.

And surprisingly, Tom isn't as much of a **** as I thought he was.:p

had an excellent night, all djs played well, and good banter.

jules - spot on, loops etc i didnt enjoy BUT im the first person in the world to slate him, and last night he was excellent. martin roths new track sounded amazing. as did dark side of the moon, what ever remix it was. only down side was him not playing DT8 - winter, was gutted. :( thoughthe would have aswell.

A&B - set of the night by a mile. not the best set ive seen them play but still good. made of sun the track of the night for me. no one on earth last track and there new track
good crack aswell, spend an hour or so in the back talking to them before there set.

rich - didnt stop as i was knackered, but the first track he played sounded amazing.

all in all a good night, good to see everyone out. roll on the nest one.

:D Think that was possibly the best Promise I've ever been to, not necessarily 'cos of the sets, but more because of the company

BUT Jules played a class set...I was expecting a bit more cheese but got none (or none that I remember!). A&B were amazing though, the few times that I've heard them play they haven't disppointed me! Tulip for the last hour was amazing too...it really was a good night!

Also spent a bit of time in the back room which I don't usually do, but had a wicked time there...though slipped a few times on the wet floor

Nice to meet Chris Spence who I've never met before, and also thanks for everyone being nice to Rach...who said that she loved her first night at Promise :)

Jules played 'a selection of tunes'.

Above & Beyeond played a set. Theres a difference.

That said, Jules was ok for him.

A & B were quite brilliant though. Much better than at the Shack in October. It really was a beutifully controlled and well constructed trance set. Built slowly but surely, with lots of little uplifting moments, and into the big finish.

I think i had the usual 'fight with myself' durning No One On Earth too. ;)

Knackered and left at 315, so didnt really catch Richard.

Also, the state of Rossy was something else! :worship:

And good to see Tom ' Poppers are Minging' Lenham enjoying his bottle so much, well my bottle actually but never mind.
