Without a doubt a step in the right direction! Everyone should boycott godskitchen on the 8th march and do promise on the 7th.

Godskitchen do clubbing no favours at all by hosting big events like the telewest.

no do a newcastle base club on sat as well like shindig. all godskitchen are doing is spoling newcastle's club scene by doing these big events, cos everyone stays in around the time to save 4 godskitchen.

and the event itself is shit, its full of charvers, djs only have short sets etc. local club nites are better to keep them going big events need to stop!

Here here!, im sick of people bad mouthing Godskitchen @ the Telewest simply cause loads of charvas go etc. and bigheads thinking 'Its all gone too commercial!', its not like Lasgo or anyone will be there lol

The musics great, all the little runts are gone by 2am anyway so whats the problem!?

Ill be goin to Promise and GK :D

Its very impersonal, its far to big for any real atmosphere to be generated, the crowd is usually horrible (your once a year clubber who's used to drinking and fighting... I'm not being arrogant just don't like being started on for wearing a crop top), the line-up's are predictable as are the sets....

They also do clubland no favours...

Definitely would be good to see the up and coming nights supported. They're what excites me most bout Promise this year. I felt last year too many DJs played too many times. Let's get some fresh blood in!!:)

Will they be in the Newcastle and Manchester areas or all round the country?

Goodgreef's just moved to a new club as well, ain't it, so it'll be interesting to see what that's like.:)

fair point no point in doing a club if u dont like the music plicy, but the point is that these big events do muck up local clubs, i really do hope promisevsgoodgreef does well.

I cant wait for promise vs goodgreef! Mixmag for December had a big write up on goodgreef and it sounded really good, they talked about the people and the atmosphere....... sounds a lot like promise the new club look awesome too!!

As for the GK stuff i will be going to both, i loved GK 5th Birthday at the arena cos i aint been to many big arena events before so its kinda new to me, i can understand what it does to clubs but i never go clubbin on a sat anyway.... there are loads of charvers at big events as there is anyway but you hardly notice them..... maybe the more big arena type events i go to the more i will dislike them but right now........ roll on the next one!

I second what broony said..... promise or GK that weekend....... it would be promise!! :D :D
