Gotta be trance...prog is nice as a warm up but got it gets borin after a while...and it nearly killed crasher which is a good enough reason for it never to be played again..well kind of!

lol was almost the death of crasher and promise.. funny GK never really played and GK keeps getting bigger... now what lesson have we learnt from this - steer the fook away from that proggie drivel!

Nah I like proggie as a warm up (think this week will be specially good with corvin warmin up) like sloppy says... but at 3am in the morning I've had harder morning erections

the fact is trance djs ie Judge Jules, Dave Pearce cant mix aswell as Sash or Diggers.

oh and if it was they were the most popular/best (however u want to put it)how come every on the promise board apart from myself,FarmerGiles and GH like trumpet blowing trance djs

I wouldn't even call them dj's mate - if your going to take this seriously mention dj's like tiesto, armin van buuren, m.i.k.e, signum, airwave, pvd, joy kitkonti (well I love him), matt Hardwick.

and you seriously think they are as good as Sasha etc.Come on think about it.These blokes are legends at residents at some of the best clubs the world has seen.

Why is sasha the most poplular dj in the world? fair enough he might be technically ace but at the end of the day a dj is only as good as his records and i like the records the likes of tiesto,armin,bond, and all the others play...

No seriously I'm not saying proggie DJ's are shit - I'm saying I preffer trance DJ's as I preffer trance... one other factor to note is 3 years ago you were probably blowing the trance trumpet, before that the happycore trumpet, before that aceeeed house, before that the chicago house trumpet....

Proggie happens to be the most rated dance in the magazines at the moment... but in two years times it may be funky house DJ's that are rated number 1... lets not forget the lcubs and the magazines only rate what is fashionable... they are there to make money.

i agree m8 i did listen to trance back in 98,99 when i first got into the scene but i v been into prog and a bit of funky house ever since.

don think so m8, i finsihed listening to trance in 99 two years ago m8.dont try and tell me i like it cos its in the press etc cos thats bullshit!I like it cos its gud the same as u like trance!!

Music comes in waves and at the moment proggie is fashionableYou have your reasons for liking progressive - i don't knwo these but I can garuantee in 3 years time theres a strong chance you'll be listening to another genre

The only reason i can think for this change in music (it happens to us all) is the media be it clubs, radio, magazine... Sometimes clubs make mistakes i.e. crasher and proggie - proggie became fashionable but the crasher kids didn't follow that fashion, clubs like cream play proggie and ti goes off as a huge success.... I can't predict what fashions you'll follow but I can garuantee you'll aquire new tastes and this is probably down to media influence

Iam not saying that at all m8y.hey all i said was that i prefer prog then u start on some bullshit saying that cos its publicised is the only reason i like it. and my earlier responce merely said that i grew out of trance quickley meaning it was not my cup of tea.

I have been listening to prog for years now well b4 Mixmag etc starting touting it

So ur telling me that when u got into clubbing and that the only thing u listened to was trance? dont think so !!!
