    Prog......Sasha, Digweed, Deep Dish!

What's the crack why do people like these DJ's I couldn't think of anything more boring (same record over and over again not going anyway).

I have seen them all and none really do it for me!

Prog is OK but I regard it as warm up music, a prog night would bore me :)

i can sometimes get away with it...but sometimes can't!

i've seen sahsa/digweed play some good sets...but some really boring ones too ( mostly when they play b2b)

deep dish are another league IMO though...way better!:D

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, and if everyone liked the sames thing the world would be very boring, but I just can't understand the attraction of prog, can someone please explain it to me?

(also has anyone else noticed more and more prog DJ's now rebranding themselves as breaks DJ's, is breaks the new prog?).

breaks certainly are the new black!:cool2:

i usually don't go to all out prog nights...but they are needed for a warm up!

i'm talking prog trance here though, with lots of melodies...i don't hold such a high opinion of the more housey stuff!

Well said mate. Opening couple of tracks before changing mood and tempo. Prog really does bore the shit out of me (despite your efforts Benson :D ) but as part of a bigger trancey/techy set then it can work.

    Each to their own though.

It's not really music to party to.

It's gotta be one of the least accessable (hardest to get into) forms of 'club music'.

    I love it.

depends on the prog. Most of the deep, dirty stuff bores me to death.

I don't play either, used to play prog about 3 years ago.

Never been a big breaks fan.

Loved Sasha a few years back, Diggers wipes the floor with him these days.

    :tut: you will learn ;)

deep dish i think can be really good, sasha also. Don't like Digweed at all.

Some prog is good, but a lot of it is dull. If you can pick out the good tracks it can be as good as trance  ;)

Pardon my ignorance but what is the difference between Sasha, Deep Dish and Digweed, I thought if you liked one you liked all?
