    any chance we can have a production sub forum on here , where peeps can can talk production , post links ect.. i see posts all over this forum and there is no specific place for peeps to talk about this ????

    Good thread gaz :) a love blabin about prod. Any1 got any trancey loops & good kicks plzzz, mine r alrite but there just the default ones now ive lost loasds thanks to this amazing laptop lol. John im just uploadin ableton now in a zip mate. Just got my laptop bk up nd runnin withn a new HD, im sick, ive lost alll my production work :cry:

    Sample at the mo m8, need more Wavs like, a had a shit load not long back but its turnt out a didnt back them up lol.

    The Hardwick forum has one & seems to work pretty effectively, when I've scrolled through past threads theres been some wkd tips from others even Tyas & the Discover lot at times, also some good trouble shooters from the techy geeks, good idea :up:

    Just sample your own stuff mate. Really easy with Soundforge.

    Best to do single hits from the start/end of tracks when they are clear and on their own.

    Remember to zoom right in and cut it at the zero cross.

    Remove the DC offset.

    Fade the end slightly (to avoid clicks).

    Normalize it to 0dB.

    can do that inside cubase altho why would you take hrs of chopin when you can pic a good kick to start with and layer sounds or hits on an other track , bounce down to audio ( bingo you have a kick or loop that fits ya bill )

    after trying for the past 2 hours intensly focusing on trying to actually grasp a whole program, i can't feel my face.
