    Production Advice

Hi Everyone, this is my first post on here - I dont quite know what Im doing yet so if Ive mucked this up sorry!

Just wanted to get some comments about my music. Ive been producing for a number of years now without success. Sean Tyas picked up one of my tracks, MECCA, a year or so ago but nothing happened with that. Then Dave Pearce selected me for bedroom producer of the week a little while ago on his Anthems show, but again, nowt happening.

So, what do you guys think of my music? Any ideas on how I could improve? Comments would be much appreciated, thanks :)

well produced but don't have the thing which will make them stand out from the crowd. you need to make them sound like you rather than trying to make them sound like what you think it should sound like.

    well you asked.

    do more.

Thats a fair comment. The tracks on my page are the ones that I thought people would like. I'll look at popping some of my less commercial tracks on.

    Thanks for your comments. :)

i had a listen this morning, i think forks is right - even though i dont listen to that genre much these days they sounded flat to me

do you send them off to be mastered or did you do them yourself?

I did them myself which is probably why they sound flat! Mastering is a major weakness of mine, I can spend an age trying to make them sound right and Ive never been happy with the final product yet
