problems??

    problems??

    it's taking about 5 years to post replies...

    anybody else having this bother? It's been happening to me all day, not just on my pc but also on my mates!!

    i've had this all week - it wouldn't load then when i pressed it the 2nd time it would post twice - however if i pressed the once and left it, it would post none at all.

    I've notice this problem too.

    It seems to be that when you preform a function on a board that sends someone a mail (so send a pm or reply to a thread people have subscribed to) that either the php parser or our smtp (outgoing email) server is taking ages to respond.

    I tried changing the smtp server a couple of weeks ago but it seems not to be any better so the next thing im gonna do is reinstall php and check any settings that relate to sending mail.

    it seems to work a lot better when using firefox rather than IE even tho firefox cant display most of the event banners for some reason
