Problems with MS Word in Vista

Its not letting me type, it opens then the buttons get greyd out and it gives this error message "This modification is not allowed cos this section is locked"

It was working fine, its a demo version but edited so it wont expire, has MS just blocked it i am thinking this as windows did a auto update today as well or is there a option to lock the program iv put on by mistake

i've never heard anything like that in word - sounds like it's MS has picked up on the hack - basically means your trial period has expired.

Is there a highlighted padlock on the left hand side of the screen somewhere? Like a button u can click.

Thus often happened when editting documents at the last place I worked..

it's totally free! if you just want to edit/write words docs and spreadsheets etc then it's a really good package

saves fannying on with dodgy cracks etc
