Problem with MSN

    Problem with MSN

    A friend of mine is havin probs with msn (messenger)! Everytime she turns her computer on it automaticly logs her in! Is there anyway to stop this happening! She has tried signing off etc but nothing seems to work.

    Has she tried going to Tools then Options then General and unticking the automatic log in box?

    Start -> Run -> MSCONFIG.

    From here choose the startup tab and look for the check box next to MsnMsg..

    Uncheck and then restart machine.. check don't show this message again and then click ok..

    I think that should do it.. I think there is a way in messenger as lee stated that may work better though..

    it also remembers your last state - i.e. if u shut your machine down with you logged in - it'll log u in when u reboot. Log out b4 u shut down and it'll just start, not log u in.
