    prob with decks

i have a problem with my decks which i first thought was to do with my needles but im not so sure anymore. sometimes when im lift the tone arm then replace it on the record it cuts out my left hand speakers.ive checked all the connections and theyre all attached properly and sturdily, but it still cuts out. ive tied switching tone arms and needles with the other deck n i didnt help. im now thinking its the part the tone arms join thats probs got a loose connection. its really annoying n my garrantee has ran out on my decks, has anybody else had this problem n if so any ideas on how could i fix it short of dismantelling my decks?

Just out of curiosity, which decks have you got mate?

Try checking the weighting and the anti-skate setting - I'm a novice when it comes to deck settings but I've managed to get one of the vestax at a place I've worked at to do that by setting the anti-skate too high :dunce:
