PRO EVO 2010 was on the playstation store last night to my joy managed to download the demo for new pro evo!! had a quick blast last night thought it waz absoultly awsome any1 else played it wot they think??
It's shit. I've cancelled my pre order. It's slow. Player animations look poor especially when running. It doesn't look much better than 2009. The players turn with the grace of a double decker bus. You never seem in total control over your passing. I could go on. I've always been a PES fan and even preffered last years over Fifa however this year i'm making the move to Fifa having played both demo's. Fifa is just a much better game this time round. It's slick, the passing feels right, 360 control of the players movement, throughballs heading shooting all in full control over power and accuracy. It looks good. It's got the lot and is the best Football game i've played for years. I was hoping for big things from PES 2010 however it's just a complete dissapointment.
i think i'll be trying both this time around. the champs leauge option on pro evo is just a winner tho aaron
Aye that's the only plus point, Specially using the champs league ball and getting the different advertising etc. The only other thing i prefer on PES is long range shootign is slightly better. I'm gutted it's crap but if it's crap what can you do. If you play both demo's it's just so obvious which you have to buy. After playing the FIFA demo last week, i said elsewhere PES has alot to do as Fifa plays like a dream unfortunatly for PES it wasn't upto the challenge. One thing is though, last years demo was poor and nothing like the original game so it could be better with the final build but the demo really is shocking.
Fifa 10 and Pes 10 both look like a waste of money this year. Thankfully that money is only 60p or so a disk so I think i'll splash out and get both!
i actually converted to fifa for the 08 season and, although i enjoyed it, i still had a punt on pes 2009 last year. flogged it after about 3 wks to get fifa 09. absolutely fucking infuriating!! the passing is horrendous and the movement is like pulling teeth! i've played both the fifa 10 and the new pes 2010 demo and, whereas nothing seems to have changed at all with pes, fifa is now running to perfection (not that it was far off in 09!). pure football simulation. love it
I find the joypads so utterly wank and they hinder my gameplay somewhat, I still win like but not with a smile!
Too used to pc gaming, play most my games with a mouse and keyboard so going back to joypads was always difficult and I never got comfortable with the next gen pads.
