i have a few different builds/milestones of longhorn but cant get any of them to run succesfully , ive also heard that unless your running a minimum of a 3.2 athlon then longhorn will run like a bitch , cos the code is still so bloated !!

Mind u final versions of norton 2004 and office 2003 are running a treat on my pc !! ;)

upgrading ANYTHING is a no-go - never ever do upgrades - fresh installs r the only way :)

if u wanna mess with beta stuff get another box....or even still - if u got a decent spec machine...use vmware - trial the new stuff on virtual machines.....nice n clean..

Looks like a skin you can get for Windows XP!

I didnt realise Longhorn was real? I thought it was some skin a geek made up for XP lol.

    What is it then?

its a serious contender for the next major microsoft release...

its definatly not a skin and the thing u see above will probably be a million miles away from what they release as the cosmetics always change :D
