Ports I don't really understand all this business about ports.. However sometimes when i'm using xdcc some files won't start downloading when they're accepted whereas others will just shoot off straight away. Could this be a problem with ports like it sometimes is with bit torrent? I notice the port number is set to 113. Also, since clicking yes for the 'new msn is available, would you like to update' message i recieved yesterday, i havent been able to log onto it. Windows messenger works fine, and 7.5 was too until I upgraded it. It says it cant sign me in because there is a problem - maybe to do with a firewall but I havent changed any of the firewall settings and it's set to allow msn 7.5 to connect to the internet. Anyone know what might be up here?
