    Pool v Toon

Apparently when Titus Brambles name was read out during the warm up The Kop gave him a standing ovation

Poor Geordie cunts getting a right festive stuffing and Chav Bowyer is off

Never a sending off for Bowyer.. poor decision. We didn't deserve a thing though, how shabby was the defence!!

newcastle were given a footballing lesson, i knew it would happen lol
its about time people realised Newcastle aren't the team they used to be and aren't a force anymore, everyone expects too much.

You play Amady Faye and Charles N'Zogbia in the middle of midfield against Steeeevie Gerrard and Xabi Alonso and you're asking for a severe beating!!!! But that's an example of Souness's tactical ineptness for you!!!

lol i love it, Newcastles fans answer has always been to blame the manager, who else could he have played from the squad he had???

toon fans need to realise we aren't a big threat anymore and dont have the squad to take on these sort of teams, so winging about a manager is a waste of time when he hasn't got the players to work with through injuries.

He could of played Solano with Bowyer in the middle, or Lee Clark who was the Fulham fucking captain last year! I don't know why you even bother talking about football, because tbf you haven't got a clue! We know we haven't got a good enough squad, but Sounes is simply not good enough! Why did he drop Ameobi for Luque when Shola has been doing really well??

solano has been doing fuck all recently, when he came on he played vertually in the middle and done fuck all to stop them anyways. and your saying i know nothing then ask why ameobi has been dropped, ameobi is possibly the worst excuse for a footballer i have ever seen

and incase u didn't notice we paid quite a bit for luque so i think the fans would ask questions of why he's fit and not getting games to get his match fitness.
We could always get him fit and sell him off for him to do well elsewhere

Shola has been playing well recently on the left, so why drop a player who has been playing pretty well? Luque did nothing all game yesterday, but it still took till the 86th minute for him to be brought off.

You keep going on about Newcastle fans thinking we've got a squad to winning the league, etc. Where, on here?? Why do you keep mentioning it???

shola is very average imo and will never be a class player, whereas Luque was great abroad and with some match fitness could be in the premiership, so why buy him if your only going to bench him?

and im talking about the majority of fans you speak to in the pubs etc they all talk as if we should be up the top challenging for major honours. Newcastle hardly have a squad so if one of our big players gets injured we can't replace him with someone of the same quality unlike other clubs in the premiership, so with our injury list i cant see why the fans are kicking off at Souness when he has nothing really to work with.

yes i agree some of his tactics aren't right and he takes far too long to change things, but i cant see what changing the manager will do. With a full squad we have a good team but i cant remember the last time newcastle had a full strength side. :)

when it comes to the crucnch luque over shola any day its that bit of world class that he can do at a split second.

sometimes craft and flair comes before workmanship
