    Police presence in Jesmond

Whats the story with it? Its like a fucking occupied country up there with the Law as the occupying force. Every third person is a Pig. You cant get in the bars for the undercovers and theres Lamp Post based spy cameras at the end of every street. Theres at least three constant unmarked cars with uniforms in cruising the area....

I know the Raa's and Toffs pay a fucking huge council bill every year but does this entitle them to better policing/more police on the street???

Stop and searchs happing to loads of people all the time.... ppl being asked "Whats the post code" if you say u are from Jesmond??

Id like to see cops in equal measures all over the city??? why should Jesmond get special treatment??? Why isnt this attracting media attention??

    Does anyone agree with this???

Their still fucking shite tho... called the Heaton plod last week when some chavs where smashing a car up in the street. took them 30 mins to arrive (three diff cars) and all they did was drive down the street... they didnt even bother to get out of their car.... waste of time.

You think that's bad, the police are closing my road to all traffic on Wednesday and Pedestrians aswell on Thursday because I live about 500m from one of the G8 meetings. I have to walk round the block and go through a police check point just to get to my flat.

    Takes the piss.

Anyway. The point is. JESMOND definitely has a much much higher police presence than the rest of the city.

IS THIS RIGHT?? Should policing be linked to council tax??

This is definitly the case..... it IS linked to council tax. Another thing thats done in Jesmond and no where else is that if u have one bin bag in your garden you get hassled to fuck of the council to get rid of it or u get taken to court!!! Heaton and other places get fuck all time for shite like that and the back lands are a fuking tip!

They are full of shit, they know theres nowt wrong with your car and are just doing it for a hell of it!!

Did you get a procucer or anything?

I didnt realise the naked eye could tell that a headlight is mis-aligned?! Short of pointing 90 degrees in the wrong direction of course....I thought it took accurate machinery to line them up in the first place? (Maybe im wrong though...)

    Cocks

My dad once got "routinely stopped"...they breatalised him, checked his tryes, checked his emissions etc etc on a brand new car
