    Playing DVD's in the US

    i just need some clarification here;

    Someone wants to watch a DVD in the states bought here, but i want to make sure i've covered ALL bases. so far, i've made a multiregion version AND a region 1 version (incase the DVD players isn't multiregion) BUT will it matter whether it's PAL or NTSC? pressumably, the DVD is PAL, but now with a region 1 code - but the DVD player SHOULD still play it, shoudn't it?

    the only problem i can see is if you play ntsc on an old tv over here then its in black and white. I'd check the newness of the persons tv because you may find it will play in black and white.

    but you can convert from pal to ntsc, i'm sure my brother does it the other way round when burning dvds

    it's a PAL DVD going to play on a NTSC TV + DVD - it should be reet. i'm just over complicating things.
