Taylor was awesome - that dive was class! Shame Duff didnt get that penalty like, 3 points off 2 dives would have been quality.

i'm not going to complain about the penalty. it's about time some luck went our way, we've been fucked over by referees an numerous occasions this season, this goes some way to making up for beye's sending off against city, the resulting penalty, taylor not being given a penalty on wednesday after being bear-hugged by micah richards, etc.

we started the game in shocking fashion, and coloccini was definitely at fault for cisse's goal. he played him onside and then stood their like a tit with his arm in the air as cisse's put the ball in the net.
my heart was in my mouth when shola rocked up to take the pantly, but he took it well. i haven't seen the replays of carroll's disallowed goal but it would've been nice for the lad if that had come off.
we were by far the better team in the second half, and had we had a striker that was better than ameobi, i think we would've killed the game off. we looked confident on the ball, took time, played some nice balls and bassong looked steady at the back. lovenkrands' effort near the end was unlucky not to dip in too, would've been some winner.

i'd look at it as two points dropped rather than one gained, but at least we didn't lose. nolan looked alright, and hopefully we'll see ryan taylor and perhaps a couple of others arrive before 5pm tomorrow. a few new players will help to build on a decent second half performance today.
