plasma screen cinema I remeber reading somewhere that someone in the world was opening a cinema using massive plasme screens instead of projectors. But I can't remeber where, just wanna read more about it, it sounds fucking mint HD cinema would be awesome. Just imagine the resolution of that bad boy it must have to at least a few gigapixels to have a good picture.
Too true, anyone who wastes there money on Plasmas wants there head read. My Samsung 46 inch beast is my best mate.
If you compare it to a set of decks/ CDJ's etc it's not really. I spend half my life watching films, tv, fitba.
my £52 logitech surround sound system and 28" goodmans does the job for me More bothered about a good sound than a huaaage screen :fart:
I don't fancy having to pay £2K for a telly expecting to have it for upto 10 years - only to have it out of date and superceded within a year EDIT - Lazman just got a 42" samsung plasma (like on the advert!) with HD - AND has even already embeded the cables into the wall in preparation for Sky+ next year!!! i'm only laughing cause i'm jealous
yeah but projector colour definition is also proper shit, unless its pitch black in the room your watching which is crap in the middle of the day.
Or if you actually have a decent projector like mine My new flatmate came in my room when I had it on and she thought I was watching a live football match
