    Pioneer cdj 800 or 1000 ???

Im wanting to buy some cdj's and dont know whether to buy some cdj 800's or splash the cash and buy some 1000's??

I have been offered a pair of cdj 800's for 600 quid but dont know whether to buy some cdj 1000's but for twice the price.

Are they any real big differences and what would you recommend?

    cheers.

1000s all the way! defo worth the extra few bob

    have a few more features,

    - track structure, track name display, pitch range etc.

the mk 3s also read mp3s which could come in handy.

the jog wheel on the 1000's is a lot more tighter and presice than the 800s.

Get the 800's. They do everything you need and more for bedroom use.

You can get a tighter mix on the 1000's as it winds in closer than the 800's....

Havin said that ive had no bother with the 800's, but the 1000's are more aesthetically pleasing...

no probs using a 800 then transfering to a 1000 in club, same process but 1000 has a better feel/function

if you only want to play tracks then go for 800

if you want to do a bit more with the tracks then get an 1000

the 800's are better for scratch djs, the 1000's are better for mix djs - just an added point you might want to consider :)
