yeah fine, and looking at it further it might be something to do with javascipt, when (in Mozilla) i go to the javascript console it has lots of sites where it says errors, it said ebay.co.uk - not defined? error in line 21, next one 22 next one 23 basically all of them. Any idea how to sort that out?

Defo re-install Java, clear internet temp files - see if that makes any difference.

Never really had any bother with Java stuff... unless it's the website's fault... but ebay looks fine for me.

You using Internet Explorer or FireFox?

Bless... your really not having an easy life this week! :(

As MOS said.. clear your cache and reinstall JAVA.

To remove JAVA goto Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs..
    Then uninstall JAVA..

    Restart your machine..

To clear Cache in firefox (I think, due to me being at college on IE) you have to goto Tools -> Options.
From here you have to select either Web Features or Advanced.. I can't remember which...
In this you can clear the cache.

Now... instead of installing JAVA again just try and browse Ebay.

I've never had to install Java to use Ebay and therefore find it very wierd that your having this problem...
