PFA Team of the year The PFA have announced their teams of the season at their annual awards ceremony in London. Predictably, Chelsea are well represented in the Premiership side with four players included - goalkeeper Petr Cech, John Terry, Frank Lampard and Arjen Robben. Arsenal and Manchester United have two representatives apiece, three of the quartet being defenders, with Shaun Wright-Phillips and Steven Gerrard helping to fill the midfield. Andy Johnson is rewarded for a fine season in front of goal with Crystal Palace with a spot in attack alongside Thierry Henry. England's hopes of winning the World Cup next year look well served if the players are good judges as eight of the XI are English. The Championship team contains three players apiece from Sunderland and Wigan Athletic while League One's side has six of Luton Town's stars and League Two's line-up includes five aces from Yeovil Town.
The teams are a bit suspect tbh like. Same with the championship teams.... Usually the case with these kind of things i s'pose tho....they dont ever seem to be how they shud!!!!
a dont think u could pick a better premiership team,,tbh maybe one or two changes but i think they've got it spot on
it's pretty accurate, although i'd have rooney in for johnson. can you imagine henry and ronney upfront together in the same side? i think they'd compliment each other so well. kinda like bergkamp does.
