Do any of you do it without the use of headphones,

Was wanting to knock together a little mix but havent got dual outputs on my soundcard.

I only ever use headphones to check where the cueing track is at then drop it into the mix. Or just to scan through tracks that im not fimiliar with.

Get one of these if you want a soundcard with multiple phono outs:

£150 is a bit pricey but i doubt youll find one with the same spec for cheaper. Ive had no problems with it whatsoever.

    sorry ianmc

Gib - you dont really need a soundcard for home use imo, just make sure your tracks are warped tightly and you'll be fine.

Plus you can always cheat and correct small amendments afterwards in the arrangement view
