    pensions

    just been told that i need to get one sorted soon with work or the money that the company puts in aswell as ures is going to stop!!!This is obviously a bad thing as far as im aware...

    What are ure thoughts on pensions because its a subject that i havent really thought of up until now...I have mates who are in there mid twenties and havent got one sorted yet.

    I got one with BT when i started 5 years ago, I was 25 then. I put £100 a month in and they put in the same ammount on top. You dont have to put alot of dosh in and you can change the ammount you do put in if you want so its worth while doing it, especially the way things are going with the goverment at the moment! I would'nt bank on them twats helping us out when where ready to collect it :lol:

    Probably have to sell my record collection to survive :p

    i got one last year after years of my mum pestering me to get one have 700 saved so far as with mine its a percentage of my monthly wage that gets put in

    wanted to cash it in for holiday money but decided against it

    Investing in property is a big no no!

    Too many people think this is a great idea. What happens is when everyone decides to sell up in 20-30 years, there will be too many houses for sale and not enough buyers, so house prices will crash big time. There is quite a bit of concern about this at the moment.


    By the time our generation collects pensions they will probably be long destroyed by the government, as they keep using our money to fund things like wars and failing hospitals,so we have to look at alternatives. Company pensions are worthless if a company goes under too. The government doesn't bail you out either so you're left skint.

    Invest in a private skateholder pension then! Virgin do some decentish ones.
