Pc Trade For Laptop?

    Pc Trade For Laptop?

    Alrite folks, thought id ask about on here as i usualy get alot of feedback on here, im looking to trade in a Lush pc for a laptop a.s.a.p if any 1ns sick of there laptop n wants a pc just reply to this n lt me know, id sell this pc n buy a lappy but thot id try here first.

    Pc Specs:

    Packardbell ixtreme (White) Tower
    Windows XP or Vista (ill install either for any1 that does take it)
    17" Brand new Wide Screen TFT.
    CD & DVD Rw.
    Pentium (4) Processor 2.8Ghz
    160GB Hard Drive (New)
    1GB Of Ram.
    256MB NVIDIA Graphics Card
    4.1 Surround Sound Card With Surround Sound & Bass.
    4 USB ports (Front & Back)
    Blue & Green Neon Lights on the bottom of the tower that shine onto where ever the pc sits.
    Light Up Blue Neon keyboard.
    Mouse (Optical)
    Wireless Router & Wireless Pen (Also Included)
    Card Reader On Front Of Tower (for your fone memory sticks etc)

    (And i have any Software u might need from Office to Windows)

    All Im after is a half decent laptop lol. cheers.

    Heres a lil pic of it, u can have green or blue neons on seperate, or if ur a big kid u can have them both on haha, i like the green.

    if ur not interested, why post?, n if u go on sum websites n calculate the specs, it easily goes over £300, more than decent for sum1 that might be after a Desktop. Am not asking for a few bars of gold and a laptop, just a cheap-ish laptop. (for sum1 that "might" want rid of 1) for a start, sum of the stuffs still (Boxed)

    Lee everythin in the things almost new, sum of it brand new, both copys of windows wud go with it aswell av no need for all this stuff, real copys aswell. the wide screens new aswell. if a had to actualy sell all this stuff under 300 ad be rippin my self to bits. n the tower will never look out of date either. for a £200 to £250 laptop, most r shit anyway, a only need 1 quick coz am movin house.

    tbf rory - they are right - you'd get a pretty shite laptop in trade for that like. i paid something in the region of 250-260 for the upgrade of my PC, which was was about 10 times worse than that system you posted there, 128gfx, 512mb ram etc

    now i'm running 4g of ram with am AMD dual core processor, new motherboard which holds the almighty Geforce 8800 ultra - which i got off the back of a lorry, which is in turn connected somewhat unescessarily to a 7300 GT, which i dont think does anything tbh apart from i had a PCIe Slot going spare and the SLI option was there - i've tried games with and without them together and there isnt any difference IMO - unless i've done the completely wrong thing in the setup. might just flog the ultra tbh - i dont really play games anymore.

    but anyway - the moral that is, you may as well sell the PC you have and put that money towards a laptop, otherwise you'll get an old junker which is running windows 2000 and has problems knowing what a CD is.

    as i said i paid 260(ish) for my set up, however half the parts were on the dodge/lorry backend and the otherhalf are my old parts of an archaic machine, which i got bought for me on my 16th birthday nearly 5 years ago - from PC world no less *shudder*

    i've just realised as well that the power supply from my system now is nearly 5 years old - no wonder i've had to disconnect stuff for it to function

    :lol: av a few spare powersupplys like, brand new, honeycomed ones like, there a hard to comeby, a stuck 1 in this aswell, a do have more memory like, its like a pc shop in here, a cud put more ram & stuff into it m8, but that up there is a basic pc as am after a basic laptop, a can upgrade the laptop, dependin on what the laptop was like to be honnest, also my kids just selt me a 22" plasma, but it wud have to be a Very fuckin good laptop for me to throw that in with the pc a tellya lmao

    a wud get sumit from work but am currently outa that at the mo, for a cupla weeks yet, n ad get hung if a got caught walkin outa there with anymore bits :lol:

    thats a much better processor and bigger monitor.

    i'm sure if you sell the bits off seperately youll be doing yourself a favour - remembering that PC hardware basically goes out of date every 2 weeks :lol:

    well it looks like u 3 have spoken for the However many members on here :lol: if u seen the tower, all the software, all the stuff, sum boxed, n m8 a work with pcs a build them, if sum1 sed rite ill trade in a £400 pound laptop but cud u upgrade the tower more, id make that tower look like Pc world its self. A can upgrade it more, but a cant exactly just jot down Everythin lol a was actualy expectin a basic laptop, coz ive that much stuff to upgrade 1 aslong as it wasnt from 95 or sumit, a knew this forum was a long shot, or, a very long shot.

    whey actually , not that much of a better processor - but dual core tho :)

    i just dropped in an intel QuadCore 2 Q6800 the other week, but i wouldent pay the street retail of 600 quid for it - noooo way.

    it still cant handle spyware :lol:

    i there class like, av only had 3 pcs in with those, which were faulty, sum1 sent a pc back with sum gear in it like sayin how shit it was, it musta been smaked about coz the cpu n sink was mms off the CPU its self causin it to heat up n trip out. avgot a processor at a 3ghz+ arround but ad have to change the motherboard. alot of this stuffs gettin bined like coz am not trailin al this shit to my new place lmao, av a cupl;a 128mb cards if u wanna play Tetris :lol:

    rory i'll take the screen if your selling it seperate, i've got daft coloured lines developing on mine for some reason - just PM me what your after and i'll see what i can do.

    as with that machine itself, i wouldent pay over 180 for it tbh no offence meant :lol:

    lol a was tradin it not floggin, remember a was only after a basic laptop, wich wuda been alot lower in spec. but av parts so a wuda just upgraded it. anyway my heads fuckin caved in with all this pc talk lmao
