PC running painfully slow For about the last ten days, there's been something wrong with the speed of my PC On the admin screen i get the message saying my copy of Windows isn't genuine, andthat I may a victim of counterfeiting software. Internet takes ages to load up, some downloads haven't worked, and when one did, Realplayer was really jumpy and the picture kept sticking. Any ideas as to what's causing it? And what I can do?

Re: Re: PC running painfully slow U should still be able to get the critical updates just software downloads like MP11 or IE7. I've got a small app which fixes this anyway... i'll post a link later to it.... just run it (2mins later & a reboot) WGA is non existent! Run spyware progs check that something aint clogging up ya processes might be something running in the background. When was last time you defrag'd? Do that.
