Pc Cases Last night while re-jigging my room my PC dropped from height, applications are working fine. The case I have is this the blue lights are now goosed & the side fan no longer works. Is it easy to transfer from on PC case to another? Where is the best place to buy a case from. Any help is much appreciated.
transferring a pc from one case to another is fairly straightforward - you just have to take the bits out in sequence and remember where everything goes when you put it back together. I've done it a few times. Would probs take about 30 mins or so. case wise, there are tons of places that do em on the net, ebuyer, dabs, microdirect, scan to name a few
yeah quite straight forward if ya remember where all ya bits and peices plug into. last time i did it the blue screen of death awaited my arrival because i forgot to plug me hard drive in
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-065-AN - Brilliant case. I'm getting it when I get my new pc. Is apparently very loud with all fans turned up full but quiet otherwise.. and still effective cooling wise. I have that Xblade case but Ive never had the blue LED work on the front, I cant find the wire and I cant find where it would plug into
bit of a faff on, most usually the jumpers where you link it to are on the bottom edge furthest away from the pci slot opening, near to where the flat battery should be located. on some mobos tho the jumpers are near to the mobo power ribbon cable slot (like mine) the wire coming from the case if its for power led it should basically say "pw led" on it normally 2 pronged it should be aswell normally
