    PC Build Problems

Im building a PC for my brother and have stuck everything in. Now when i try to start it, all the fans start up and the motherboard light comes on but i am getting no video output. Usually i guess u would be able to get some idea of what the problem could be by listening to the system beeps, but it didnt come with any pc system speaker. It all leaves me thinking that the graphics card is fooked but im not sure. Does anyone have any ideas?

dont have another pci express card i can try in it but it definatly isnt that monitor as ive tried two. I think im coming to the conclusion that either the gfx card is fucked or the PSU isnt supplying it with enuff power, tho it is a 400w psu and should be able to handle it. I work at pc world so will probs take it into the technicians there and see what they think

has the gfx card got a separate power connector that isn't connected? I had to buy 600 watt psu when i upgraded my gfx card

try it WITHOUT the gfx card in , see if it does anything different... if it's the same - it's not the GFX card...

Try a PCI or AGP one for the time being - from your own or a spare one...
