Sounds more like a Setanta thing :D
Shocking but they've gotta try these things plus if it's a tournament that isn't usually on then I say offer it for a price and see who wants it.

It's when they take shit like the WWE wrestling (which was always free bar the UK events) and start charging for em. That wreaks of greed on both fronts...

Nah the pay per view is for a one off match between Phil 'the loser' and Andy Fordam (sp?) the two champs. Eric Bristow is playing an exibition match as well that night.

I think its a sat night but if am not out will prob get a few of the lads round to watch it.

the reason behind this is as follows : 8 of the PPV contracts were sold to Sky, while the other 4 picked up by Channel 4 - all under the condition of being broadcast on without extra charge. However, channel 4 dropped its WWE coverage for being 'unsuitable' which left the 4 PPVs up for re-negotiations. These were split between Setana and Sky Box office - WWE going for the most cash offered by both companies. Thats why some are still on Sky 1 and others on pay per view.

not that i'm that interested... just read it somewhere once... :dunce:
