    Without a doubt the best chipshop round here.

    I actually drive from shields regularly just to get a kebab and chips from pauls chippy.

    Anyone else a fan of this place?

    if not.

    Where do you rate as the top chippy? :king:

    Closest set of takeaway lights that I can focus my eyes on at 3am. Otherwise I tend not to get takeaways unless it's a pizza. Kebab is always the most disappointing food ever unless you're so pissed that you're dibbling down your neck :dunce:

    ZeGermans off here lives literally round the corner from pauls like - i remember there was a period in his life when he was eating kebab meat at least once a day :lol:

    dont really rate any chippy tbh, westoe road if its in sooth shields.

    if its in town i cant really answer because they're all very much alike, the one on clayton streets alright tho. (based on the fact its one of 3 i've visited :lol: )

    i always seem to end up pinching flyers/posters rather than getting food.

    It mad....down here in Liverpool....all the chippys are chinese takeaways too...you can't just go to a fish n chip shop for a chippy butty or whatever...find it quite strange, as up home they a separated!! :oops:

    Aye, true....here they have it all, Chinese, Kebab house and Chippy all in one!
    Theres a really big Chinese community down here though and their livelihood is owning a chippy. Two of the Chinese kids in my class own chippies....one of them had £210 in his pocket the other day and said he'd just borrowed it out of the till!!! haha....not that thats got anything top do with this thread!

    even tho i work and live 2 secs away from team valley i hav never tried that one. altho i hav heard from a few people that its quite nice. porcelli's or summit??? in the same lil square is the nicest pizza place in the world....papa johns. fuckin unreal if ya dont mind forkin out like 14 quid for a 12" pizza lol.

    I went to my friends in gateshead last week - theres a pizza shop thats also an Indian & a chip shop :eek:

    They do Curry pizza's which are wrong but soooo nice
