    Paul Oakenfold

    Whats the chances?

I would pay £15 to see the UKs GODFATHER of TRANCE.

I know it is not cool to like British trance Djs but I want to see Oakie in Newcastle.

I still would like to see him at Promise though, would be brilliant if Mark could get him. it would put promise even more on the map. i still think he would be quite good though as long as he doesn't play the shit that he is producing at the moment

Would the crowd be as rough as a Jules crowd? or a potential Dave Pearce crowd?

    Re: Paul Oakenfold

Think you would be paying allot more then £15 to see him at Promise, I am sure last time he played Crasher it was around £22 (when it used to be only £12 normally)

I believe that Oakie is very selective about where he plays, The Empire have very close links with him, he's played there for years.

You missed the point yet again...

He was utter sh!te. Was looking forward to seeing him play but he was that much of a disappointment we had to leave. There were a lot of people with the same opinion. It wasn't just us lot that thought he was complete and utter garbage. I've seen him play before and he was good, but that set was far below his high standards.

    Not good.
