    MY DIGITAL ENERMY INTERVIEW

Are you a big festival fan?
What is your ultimate festival item you cant do without?
Yes, I love going to festivals but not so keen on them when they rain so every year I go to a festival called Coachella. It’s a massive Rock / Dance festival in Palm Springs, America. It’s amazing, set in a polo field with desert mountains and huge palm trees all around, breathtaking scenery and the weather is always fantastic. Favourite festival item has to be my favourite straw hat which I can get away with wearing there.

What else have you been up to this summer?
Been very busy in our studio. We have just set up our own record label, MDE Records, so have been sorting out all that stuff as well as getting releases ready. Also we have been upgrading our existing main studio and building a new project studio next door. Exciting stuff if you are a studio nerd!

What can people expect from your set in Stereofunk arena?
Well we will showcasing a lot of stuff four label which will be totally exclusive so not a lot of people would have heard it before. It will be a good place to road test some of the tracks. Also we are toying with the idea of doing some of the tracks live. We are just looking into that at the moment.

What other djs are you looking forward to see at Parklife?
Really looking forward to seeing Mark Mendes, he is an awesome producer and I am playing loads of his stuff at the mo. Also Jules is always good.

Have you got any festival stories that you have heard of or funny things happened to you?
There are quite a few but not something I could talk about in an interview! Friend of mine got so smashed once that he continued to dance after the music had stopped, that was quite funny to watch!

    SIMON PATTERSON INTERVIEW

Are you a big festival fan?
What is your ultimate festival item you cant do without?
I am a big festival fan and after playing at three festivals already this year where it was pouring out of the heavens, the one item I won't be leaving at home this time round is wellington boots. Cliché but true!

What else have you been up to this summer?
Working hard on new tracks. I have a new one with Sean Tyas coming out later in the year and the new Simon Patterson pencilled in for October. I've also been working on a few housier bits under a different name. Plus travelling quite a lot too!

What can people expect from your set in the Main arena?
    Driving tech trance.

What other djs are you looking forward to see at Parklife?
Richard Durand. Always love hearing him play!

Have you heard or witnessed the Scottish crowd?
Yep loads of time and it's always remained my favourite place to play alongside Ireland. The atmosphere is always incredible!

Have you got any festival stories that you have heard of or funny things happened to you?
No not many. I'm usually quite boring and get there before I play, then leave straight after. It's usually 'cos the weather has been so bad! Fingers crossed I can stay for the day and enjoy the sunshine!
