    Pancakes -

4oz plain flour (about 8 big spoons)
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 egg
    1/2 pint of milk
bit of butter (for the pan/ or use a really clean non-stick pan with no butter/oil etc)

    1. Mix flour and salt, hollow a hole in the middle, drop in the egg
    2. Stir with spoon and add liquid gradually untill all the flour is mixed together
    3. Beat well and add the last of the milk if theres any left
    4. melt the butter in the pan if you are using it, wait till its really hot and it smokes
    5. get yer batter in, depends on how thick you want it, but about a big spoonful
    6. wait till its mostly set and cooked before flipping, but try and check wether its burning
    7. flip it! most of you lot are good at wrist action lol
    8. eat/enjoy

remember your first one will probably be the worst so keep that one for yourself as a mid-cooking snack :)

    lemon juice and sugar

    or

    golden syrup
