p45 @ the whithouse this sunday new order dj set “A Sunday night out that’s actually worth the risk” The White House has been completely remixed for 2007, with Turbosound, club lighting and increased capacity – it’s now one of the capitals finest venues. The new in-house Friday nighter, Origami, has had the club bursting at the seams and now they’ve got plans for the end of the weekend too. P45, a new Sunday session to rival anything on a Friday or Saturday, starts on April 29th and is sure to have just about every employer in London fretting at the very prospect. “It takes something a bit special to keep people out on a Sunday (and risk actually getting their P45!!) and I think that’s what we’re creating here…” “We’re looking at getting in some extra special guests and artists that will make the Monday morning hangover seem more than worth it.” Quite fitting then that the legendary Peter Hook (New Order) will be DJing for the one in May to help ensure it is a very Blue Monday. *ahem* Future guests include the likes of Adam Freeland, Infusion, Freeform 5, Sebastien Leger and Italian sensation, Madox, so there’s every reason to risk it at some point.
