Why are you using e-donkey  ? E-mule or Shareaza for the e-donkey network

If you're using xp firewall ( ) you have to open up ports manually ( ), and not just for specific applications neither - you have to leave them open ( )

:p - what happens when you let kids near computers... ;)

Use Sygate (piece of piss to use and not resource heavy at all) - and you can turn the xp firewall off in the security centre (if you're using SP2 - there's a link in the bottom left I think to get to some options), or - in the View Network Connections window, right-click your internet connection, select Properties, and it's the third tab along. :)
