yes...they shit out every thing they dont digest..you can often find parts of rabbit and mouse skulls in the pellets...there are actually people who go around digging around in owl poop!

ive done about 1/2 of the smallest wing...is taking me ages but due to the nature of my job i can sit and do that while im working...kind of...stops me getting bored if there is sumat shite on telly which im forced to watch i find it quite relaxing actually
When I was 10 I went to a place in the mountains for school and we dissected owl pellets. We tried to recreate the skeletons of the shrews that the owls had eaten... but mine was missing some bones... they do crush some of the bones and partially digest them (poop!), but the actual pellets are regurgitated like helz said... its kinda like when your cat gets a hairball... and they cough a few times until it just comes up and out of their mouth... not the prettiest thing to watch, but it could be worse. sweet dreams!
My friend has an owl. Its cool. Has to feed it dead chicks. He keeps them in the freezer and he has a dead crow in there too.
this guy who lives across the road from me has what looks like an owl/kestrel/snow owl.. and they all sit on perches outside his house all day :spangled:
