    Owen completes Man Utd switch

Micheal "Hot Shot" Owen has joined a real football club ending his Newcastle Utd NIGHTMARE.

Hes turning out for less than half the 110k the Geordie fools where paying him.

GREAT SIGNING FROM FERGIE! what better to have in reserve than a fox in the box with a 1 goal in 2 games ratio.

    2 Year contract !

Michael Owen started 65 games and scored 30 goals for the Scum. He is reported to have cost the relegated club an eye-watering £41m in fees and wages.

a goal virtually every 2 games not good enough tho is it lads? not for the mighty car-toon army!! let him go get him off the wage bill eh hahahaha

    Incredible.

So if score 6 goals over 2 games then get injured for the rest of the season does that make me the most deadly striker in the League due to my goal/game ratio?

I think it's a stroke of desperation as no fucker in Ronaldo's or Tevez's calibre has yet to agree a move to ManU. They've missed out on Ribbery & Benzema. If Ferguson thinks he'll get 90 minutes graft out of him every week like a pack horses such as Ronaldo or Tevez he's sadly mistaken.

89 starts since leaving Liverpool in the 2003/04 season is appauling for a top flight striker of his age.

He makes me laugh he really fucking does, this will be like a lead balloon on Merseyside all this because even before the move he was getting booed when he went

If he think's he is going to get into the England squad or work his way back into Capello's books does he think that going to Man Utd and taking Tevez's place on the bench will help him?

His injury record speaks for itself and no one can deny that, 119 games in 5 years ? If he wasnt a footballer he simply wouldnt have a job its as simple as that - he was a renowned sick note at Liverpool with a gammy hamstring, he was hampered with injuries at Real Madrid and then at Newcastle but then has the fucking cheek to come out and say he isnt injury prone? Aye i dont go on the sunbeds and i dont have any debt or two jobs either u jumped up little smarmy cunt....

The top and bottom of it is Newcastle were the mugs to pay all that for him when we signed him, only Liverpool had bid for him and it was about 7m less than out bid which was accepted, we then went and paid him stupid fucking money and continued to do so for all them years while getting nowt back - his attitude the fact that he never moved up here and a whole load of other things along with his constant miserable face is why i hate the little bastard so much.

Long may the injuries continue- course your not injury prone or in it for the money either....

It is pretty clever like. They could pay his wages for a year, let him sit on the bench as a sub and then sell him and still make a profit overall because they got him for free.

Definitely, ManU will easily make a good £6 - 7m from him by the time he ends his 2 year deal with them, all depending on his clauses of course but either way it's a brilliant business move from Ferguson.

Just cant helping thinking Owens merely a sticky plaster for whats a huge wound with Ronaldo & Tevez leaving, but still early days for the transfer window I guess.

If he couldn't come good & steer cleer of injuries at the worlds biggest club then he never stood a chance at Newcastle with our medical & training staff.

Fergusons a genius but I doubt he can reverse nearly 9 years of whats been a complete & utter under achiever.

to be fair, if Ferguson wanted someone with a proven track record of hitting the net he should have signed andy murray.
