Maximo Park were wicked!

Went for a bit but the nights events beforehand caught up with me, and I only had the thinest jacket every on so just went home

totally guttedi missed this but after acting like i was a young un wiht loads of energy all weekend i went to bed at 7.30

just found out that maximo park are doing a tour and there newcastle date is the 15th of december genral ticket sales from 1/6/07

Maximo Park were class like - worth getting shoved about, having my feet stood on, beer and water thrown on me and standing for about 3 hours Paul Smith was loving it like, Love his mad jumpin about.

And his pisstaking of the people who had sneaked on the hill next to the flats - Its a free gig man!! lol

Wish I could have seen soulwax like, but thats the sacrifice when you like bands AND dance.

was a good day, had a laugh and the weather wasn't too bad

thought the sound was shit tho, couldn't hear half the lyrics when maximo park were on

i ended up sittin on that grass bank down from pitcher and piano all day...although i did see simian mobile disco, who were classssssssssss, but the crowd seemed a bit odd.

proper teatowel fest.

me and revel lasted about 2 hours.

saw chromeo and those fa fa fa people.

but Echo & The Bunnymen and Maximo Park were both pretty decent, and i wore two jackets

it wasn't that cold if you were dancing you soon warmed up, i was roasting after soulwax had been on.
and who cares if there was loads of kids it wasn't like they were 9 and 10 year olds.

the beer queues wernt that long.

Had time to get from down the front after each band, procure two pints, drink them and get back down the front all day.

There was a canny few. I had to keep picking some lad up off the floor cos he only looked about 9.
