    orange broadband

    got dial up at min and just got bt bill in for £108
    so not happy coz never dial people on house phone
    just for internet, thinking of getting mobile phone contract
    with orange and taking advantage of their free BB,
    anyone got it is it ok?

    Ive got it its good depends what area your in I suppose, get 7.5MB connection here.

    We've got it and have had no problems.

    Pay £5 per month and get 8mb so isn't all bad

    my mate at work has been waiting 3 months to get connected for the free orange broadband.

    My lass has just got AOL and she gets 54Mbps on her broadband. My Tiscali only gets me fucking 2.2Mbps where I live - proper shit :down:

    I get between 6-7 most of the time on Orange broadband, its not too bad, goes off for five minutes once in a while.

    She doesn't get 54mbps mate - that will be the speed of the Wireless router.

    Nowhere in the UK can serve that speed on a residential connection yet.

    When I click on the internet icon at mine, it say's 2.2Mbps, at hers it say's current speed 54Mbps - and it downloads music quick as fuck. Like a full 2hr set in a couple of minutes. Therefore my mis-judgement is slightly justified.

    me either, i get pissed off when a page isn't instantly loaded, think my pc would be in pieces by now if i was on dial up.
