The Original “tough love mix” combines driving house beats with an incredibly deep growling sub bass. The percussion throughout adds just the required amount of Latin disco shuffle; with its solid punchy clap and swung cowbells. The bass driven groove squeezes and opens up into a great breakdown helped by perfectly placed vocal stabs and electronic effects. Canadian deep house producer Jay Tripwire opts to take the peak time feel of the original and construct a much deeper remix with dubby early morning feel.
