One night TUNE wonders Have you ever heard a tune in club that totally blew you away and you thought it was going to be a total anthem....... only for it to totally disappear without trace??? My tune would have to be Blank & Jones - "The Nightfly" (Headcleaners mix) played by Taucher at Crasher sometime in 2000. It instantly became one of my favourite ever tunes!! After that I never heard the tune in Crasher again. EVER. I think Ornadel might have played it at Promise? but apart from that NOWT. It got a main release with some cheesy remixes in 2001 but apart from that......a defo one night wonder!
No Pike but i went to see Taucher one night and i went home thinking "why did i go out" - i think a gentleman off here had sung his praises for weeks before his set Im trying to think of tunes that ive heard and then never heard again band can only think of two : Madonna - What it feels like for a girl Ratty - Sunrise I remember my first time @ Gatecrasher May 2001 for the May Day Ball and Judge Jules dropped them both - i nearly had an emotional breakdown and it was then that ive never heard them again ! They might seem like frommage but at the time they were good tunes

Re: One night TUNE wonders Downloaded this out of curiosity - have to say I quite like it! Bit old though - 2001... Unfortunately I rarely find out tunes I hear once. This happens more often to me than others since I only go clubbing about once a month. There were some beauty's that Tulip played on Friday - I'd love to know them, and that floaty trance song Yoji played before hammering another hard one at the end.
That used to happen to me all the time, I just used to grab a hold of Bigdave or Ted and ask them and they always came up trumps. However I was usually that spangled that Id forgotten by the next day :spangled:

Re: Re: One night TUNE wonders I have it on one-sided German import from 2000. It never really created a big buzz though to be honest, and was quite a decent tune. Better than 'Cream' IMO, which was an absolute anthem back then.
