Didn’t the good Joey lend his support to a Blue Peter charitable appeal many years ago...one of the ones where they had a big thermometer that went up as the cash rose - did Joey help out somehow...or was he a kind of simble of hope and goodness to spur along the appeal... I can't recall actually seein him on Blue Peter...only that after he was on, I heard in the school yard the next day kids shouting at one another the immortal putdown, "You fuckin Joey!!!" School Kids can be so cruel...
