If the money is made availible - which looks like is will be - then i see no reason we can't come back up and stay up! For as long as i can remember sland have hardly ever had any money. We have relied on bargain buys and older "cheaper" players. It will be interesting to see who comes and who goes. personally i would start to build a new team, we have players in our first team now who will struggle in the championship. If we keep Arca, Lawernce, Whitehead and elliott i'll be happy to see a new team built around them. I also think stead will do some damage next season. just gonna have to wait and see tho

Actually i agree with him ! stead will be top scorer in the chapionship next season . The whole money being made available thing im not too sure about mind ... you have to look at the cost of relegation , buying new players which you clearly need and making sure you get up within two seasons before the parachute payments end .. its a difficult situation . The point about you lot having no moeny seems a little strange considering you spent the same as wigan , west ham and aston villa at the start of the season .... Just maccarthy brought in shite imo . But you could do wi more cash though !
i think stead and elliott will link up really well next season! i will wait to see how much money is made availible before i start totally getting my hopes up as for wigan, westham & villa. wigan bought proven players: De Zuew(sp), Camara. then in jan they got Mellor, Thompson. Westham spent about 9mil in jan. Villa already have a decent squad and shouldn't be where they are in the league.....sunderland spent about 4/5 mil mccarthey did buy shite too tho
