Next years gunna be really interesting if the rumours are true & Noel is to bring a solo album out. Some of his new solo stuff sounds shit hot.
In his latest blog he reckons hes hit a rich vain of writing form. Heard a few of his new tunes now, another one is "If i had a gun" which sounds decent aswell. There was one that went on for about 20 minutes in the soundchecks early on in the world tour, probably just fucking about but it sounded massive. The solo album will be out before the end of the year like.
It doesn't supprise me if it does, Liams voice is shot to bits, and despite me being a fan of DOYS they seemed to come across as a tad 'manufactured' as a Band. Having said that im not sure how many Bands this day in age could come home from the back end of world tour to sell out most Football Stadiums in the UK... Noels a machine, he's already expressed interest in collaborations with Paul Weller & Johnny Marr, his solo album will be immense.
Listening to the recent gig in brazil it sounds like liam can't finish choruses off as his voice sounds well fucked Noel does all the big interviews, radio shows, tv appearances, writes the songs and is the fucking work horse on stage aswell, yet he sounds in the best shape hes ever been in vocally. Crackers! Maybe chucking the gear in years ago was the best decision he ever made....

Liams took a proper battering for some of his clobber over the years, not suprised as hes donned these hideous clogs a few times. Lets hope his clothing line is better, so far it looks like a carbon copy of mod for me which isn't a bad thing is it... Still. He tries too hard to look like lennon at times....
