Oakey - Southern Sun - best, most uplifting feel good trance tune for ages!

sure this has been up for debate before, and i know its been around a bit now but I just d/loaded it last night cos I hadnt heard it for ages........

so what's anyone think of it?

    slightly cheesy?
    maybe bit commmercial?
or just one of the nicest, uplifting, make u feel good, and original trance tunes for ages, i love it?

all of the above i reckon?

its one of them tunes IMO that are fantastic when they re first played, it was a breath of fresh air, it put a smile on your face, it still puts a smile on my face, but i m not hugely excited by it.. a nice summer tune though:)

Loved it soooo much cos it takes me back to Tiesto at Cream x10. Was probably the highlight of an otherwise average night.
I went out and bought it but the intro's so obvious I cannot mix it into anything.
    Maybe more practice required.

The word "uneducated" springs 2 mind :p

Oakey started as a hip hop dj - how is going back to his roots selling out? :p

but on both records they're not my cup of tea... is the politest way i can phrase my dislike for these records :D

Indeed! At first only played Tiesto's remix but I have moved on to Gabriel & Dresden now...quality just quality! Would be nice to hear it in say a few months if everyone hasn't got sick of it @ Promise or something! At say a classics night but otherwise, ain't gonna get dropped much now...
